Members of The Advanced Electro-Energetic Technologies Group (GTEA) publish the paper “Study of Different Mathematical Approaches in Determining the Dynamic Rating of Overhead Power Lines and a Comparison with Real Time Monitoring Data” in the journal Applied Thermal Engineering. This journal, Q1 in thermodynamics area, publishes original, high-quality research papers and ancillary features, spanning activities ranging from fundamental research to trouble-shooting in existing plant and equipment.

The University of Cantabria (UC) participates in a collaborative project “university-enterprise” to optimize power distribution network. 9 professors and 4 researchers from UC integrated into Advanced Electro-Energetic Technologies Group (GTEA), Advanced Control Techniques of Power Converters and Microelectronics Engineering, involved in this project together other six public and private entities.

Members of The Advanced Electro-Energetic Technologies Group (GTEA) publish a chapter “Methodology for the Low-Cost Optimisation of Small-Wind Turbines” in the book “Wind Turbines – Design, Control and Applications”. The goal of this book is to present recent works on design, control and applications in wind energy conversion systems.

Application to a Real Case of Grid Integration of Wind Farms”.
