MARIO MAÑANA CANTELI

 

Mario Mañana received his Telecommunications Technical Engineering Specialized in Electronic Systems at the University of Alcalá in 1992. In 1995 and 2000, he received his BSc in Telecommunications Engineering and his PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Cantabria, respectively. From 2005 to 2012 he has been Head of the Department of Electrical and Energy Engineering at the University of Cantabria (UC). From 2012 to 2016 , he has been director of the Sustainability Office attached to the vice-chancellor of Campus, Services and Sustainability. Since March 2016, he is vice-chancellor of Campus, Services and Sustainability (UC). He also works as a lecturer and researcher with the Department of Electrical and Energy Engineering , and he leads the Group of Advanced Electrotechnology Techniques (GTEA) and the Viesgo Energy Chair.
